You are eligible for the maximum Pell grant if you have a Pell-eligible EFC 和 meet the following criteria:

• Your parent or guardian was a member of the Armed Forces 和 died as a result of performing military service in Iraq or Afghanistan after 9/11/2001; or was actively serving as a police officer, 消防队员, or other public safety officer 和 died in the line of duty*

• Your parent or guardian was a member of the Armed Forces 和 died as a result of performing active duty military service on or after 9/11/2001; or was actively serving as a police officer, 消防队员, or other public safety officer 和 died in the line of duty.

• You were under 33 years of age as of January 1, 2024.
